The subjects were: "Something Made of Wood", "Lettering", "Something Red", "Something Round", "Movement", "Texture", "Close-up", "Shadow", "An Unusual Perspective" and "Legs".
The Teams gave themselves the following names: "The Beaulieu Dodgers", "Mark 2's", "The Beaulieu Scavengers" and "The Forget me nots" and spent the first part of the evening finding and taking the images. Afterwards, we met back at the School for refreshments and the teams chose their images for the competition on 29th June which were uploaded onto the MacBook before we left, Ian made a great job of doing this and putting them into separate folders ready to be scored.
The images were all "as taken" as jpegswith no post processing at all. The results were tremendous and a real credit to the proficiency and skill of our members. Each set of images for each subject were shown as PDIs which Sue critiqued. She put them in order from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th and the cumulative scores were added together to give a total overall.
The winning Team was "The Beaulieu Scavengers" which consisted of Hilary Flaxman, Emma Port and Maggie White - a grand result for the all-girl team who amassed a superb total of 37 and received the splendid prize of a box of Maltesers each.
