Beaulieu Camera Group held our PDI of the Year competition on 7th December.
Over the course of the year, a total of 53 Seals of Merit were awarded at the four Open and one Set Subject ("Transport") competitions. A new judge to the area, Paul Mitchell FRPS and a member of Arena, visited Beaulieu Camera Group for the first time. Paul's assessment of each image was excellent and much appreciated and enjoyed by the membership.
1st Place and winner of the PDI of the Year Trophy was awarded to Emma Port for her striking image "Close Contact".

In 2nd place was Ian Hutchinson with "Wheatear" and in 3rd place Hilary Flaxman CPAGB with "Elephant Seal Weaner".

Congratulations to the award winners and to all the Beaulieu Camera Group members whose PDI were awarded Seals of Merit during the year. The quality of these and the variety of genres and styles certainly made for an excellent competition.
